Refining sequence

How scrap becomes finished metal

01

Sort and decoat

Optical and density sorting separates 1xxx and 6xxxx streams, then thermal decoating removes coatings and organics before melting.

02

Melt and purify

Scrap is charged into the furnace, where dross is skimmed and molten metal is refined to reduce oxide and impurity content.

03

Alloy and cast

The melt is adjusted to target chemistry, then direct chill casting forms ingot, billet, and profile stock to standard dimensions.

Finished outputs

Ingot, billet, and profile

Each output serves a different downstream route, from remelting to extrusion to structural use.

Remelt ingot

Standard ingot formats

Cast to standard ingot dimensions for remelting and alloy production, including Aluminum A7 ingot.

Extrusion billet

Billets for extrusion

Direct chill cast cylindrical billets sized for extrusion presses, with consistent surface and length.

Structural profile

Engineered profiles

Extruded profiles produced from certified-grade billet stock for structural and fabrication applications.
